The perfect place to go once winter has it's icy grip on Europe! A 6 hour flight with a connection in Madrid from Amsterdam, and one goes from -5c to 25c (23f to 77f) and brilliant sunshine. The Canary Islands are an interesting chain of islands, some more populated than others, all with varying topographies. Above all, a great break from bone-chilling Europe!
